Quicksilver is seriously great (and free) and does get support updates github.com/quicksilver/...

Specifically: Quicksilver is the best Spotlight/Finder replacement but is an old app and has some app cruft.

Alfred is not great at actually finding the files you want it to find and tries to be too helpful, but a lot can be turned off.

Raycast makes no sense and my top reddit post is about that.

Hide it from the menu bar, disable the keyboard shortcuts, and assign them to either Raycast, Alfred, or Quicksilver

(I love Quicksilver the most, but use Alfred. Raycast doesn’t do what I want.)
