What I witnessed in southern Kansas on the 11th still doesn’t even feel real.

I’ve dreamed of seeing something like this, to take photos like this. But never could I have imagined I would do it in southern Kansas of all places. Extremely unbelievable.

Quite rare to see this! A special marine warning has been issued on LAKE MICHIGAN for the potential of waterspouts within the snow bands on the south side of the lake!

Alongside 6+ inches of snow falling in areas on the south side of Lake Michigan, it appears that there might even be waterspouts on-going in the snowbands on the SW side of Lake Michigan!

Since today is halloween.

What're the spookiest storms you've seen or chased?

Personally, mine is this large nighttime supercell that occurded near Hollister, Oklahoma that produced around 4 different tornadoes, including a wedge tornado that was over a mile wide.

Dug out this extremely rain wrapped #tornado around 4:30 PM south of Harper, Kansas this evening.

Quite hard to see, but you can see the funnel coming down on the top left part of the image shortly before becoming a fully condensed cone tornado to our south.

Heading up into southern Kansas this afternoon where the SPC has issued a moderate risk for wind! Large hail and a few tornadoes are also expected from the initial supercells before the storms become linear and push east/southeast into NE OK/SE KS where damaging winds will occur.
