the INVISIBLE MAN is imho probably the best of the OG universal horror films. it is delightfully unhinged and the invisibility effect is still astonishing all of these years later

My review from EIFF drops next week (I think) but the movie is good!!!
Kelly Reichardt's The Mastermind is out in limited release today in the States, and i would highly, highly recommend it: a patient process thriller a la Melville, if the hero of a Melville movie was a Raskolnikovian loser from Worcester, Mass.
