When I was a kid, Dad told me the history of how Armistice Day became Veterans Day - after that, I always wished him Happy Armistice Day on Nov 11.

At my Dr’s appointment this week - they had a new form up in all of the rooms.

It’s a bomb threat reporting process.

The docs there are mostly Asian and Latino.

They’ve been getting MAGA death threats.
This is a photo of a bomb threat form that my doctor has had to put up at their offices due to the amount of MAGA threats they’ve been receiving. It details who to contact, questions to ask the caller if the threat came by phone. It also asks gender of the caller, etc.

So, decided to stop at my favorite used book store on the way home (The Iliad Book Shop - North Hollywood, CA).

They have two cats, Zeus, a gray tabby and Apollo, an orange tabby. Well, Zeus greeted me at the door. I bent down to pet him and he ran up to my shoulder, where he stayed til I left;)
