Prescott's memo is also massively overblown. The J6 Committee report showed that Trump *did* contribute to the riots, and did nothing to stop them once they started

So the 'misleading' effect of the BBC edits (which were wrong, IMV) was to give the impression of something that was correct

The right is much more anti-science, anti-expert and anti-fact than the centre left.

There's a reason for the trust issues, and it's not the BBC

If you can find me the quote from the BBC saying that 'we completely changed' the quote, I'll accept that

It doesn't 'completely change' it at all

'Complete' change would mean:
1) He wasn't talking about the J6 event
2) He was saying something not related to the assault
3) Overall, he opposed the assault

None of those statements are true
