Thinking back a few months, it's kind of nuts that I bought an old Thinkpad and a display from Aliexpress. I changed the display in a laptop. It works great.

Screen was about $70.

Of course, I can opt out in settings. But the trust is broken. I should never have been opted in to this as a default.

Notification permissions are required for this type of app to function.

Then, the dickheads put ads in the notifications. There is zero chance I'll use Invites for anything now.

I did an app icon for ReturnMate!

ReturnMate scans barcodes of cans and bottles and tells you if it's eligible for that sweet sweet 10¢ refund.

In January, I went to Monarto Zoo and did the Lions 360 experience where they put you in a cage and surround you with lions. Neat.

One of the lions was named Chad, and he passed a way this week.

In iOS 26, the clear icons would make more sense if they used each app's accent colour.

My mockup isn't perfect, but it's kind of what i mean. The clear variant has almost no utility?

I haven't used the _actual_ accent colours here. If i did, it'd be very blue.

Chihuly nights @ Adelaide botanic garden
