Thinking back a few months, it's kind of nuts that I bought an old Thinkpad and a display from Aliexpress. I changed the display in a laptop. It works great.

Screen was about $70.

Many are missing the point of the 'fisherprice' style design of macOS.

Apple will roll touch-screen macs in the next 1 or 2 cycles. For that macOS needs to have touch target sized elements.

Apple won't release them until most 3rd party apps support the new layout, so they specced it out early.

Notification permissions are required for this type of app to function.

Then, the dickheads put ads in the notifications. There is zero chance I'll use Invites for anything now.

If I can migrate my massive photo library away from iCloud, then I'm in with a chance of not giving Apple money this year.

But, I have no idea where to start. I don't think there's an app as good as Photos to look at photos with.
