Maybe this is not the place to ask, and better suited to things like views on politics, sports hot takes, and food pics. But, what the hell gonna ask anyway: What is the meaning of life? www.matthewwhitney.com/god-of-my-ad...

I’ve been thinking about trying Qi Gong anyway but with that multiple-gut-punch Sounders loss now is the time.

Back to painting places I love, and just finished this one. I'm trying to work fast and be not-precious about it. Image is from a backpacking trip in the Sierras from a couple of years ago; David tells me its looking south towards Alpine Col in Darwin Basin. That was a sweet place.

Finished this drawing today, getting reacquainted with some of the visual language I used in previous map drawings. Pastel offers lovely color, graphite for the mountain, conte for the linework, approx. 36" x 52"

First post / Intro: I’m a multidisciplinary artist deeply connected to the practice of walking and exploring landscapes. My art and writing are inspired by the experiences and reflections that arise from these drawings of the present moment.
