I really think we need to have some mechanism in place for being able to say, in print and in the media, that a problem with a public figure is that they are insane. Not in a hyperbolic way. RFK Jr is a maniac.

you don’t even really have to explain anything - my 2.75 year old once told me her classmate had two moms (we saw them in the daycare parking lot) then in the next breath asked to listen to Let It Go again
it's crazy that being like "how do i explain gay couples to my kids?" isn't an unthinkably embarrassing to say in 2025. it's actually incredibly easy to explain, that should be like indignantly saying "how am I supposed to explain to my kids where the sun goes at night? did a bird steal it?!"
