I should probably post something, so here's the first page of a still unfinished comic called "You Don't Have To Do This." It's about a reluctant paladin who is increasingly uncomfortable with the idea of using violence to solve problems. I'll finish it someday.

Friends, join me in this celebration. For most of June and July, I was on antibiotics. I am finally off of them, and cured, and I am ready to enjoy the first beer I've had in a long time. This is a Sundowner from the excellent Eudora Brewing Co. in Kettering, Ohio.

This comic is not related to my trauma but it is something I'm proud of, and perhaps a good way for me to reintroduce my comics to social media. This is a comic adaptation of a poem by Mervyn Peake titled "Simple, Seldom and Sad."

The Oniscidae, better known as woodlice, are a subgroup of isopod crustaceans whose role is to remove harmful heavy metals from the earth, such as mercury, cadmium, and lead. They help cleanse the soil and groundwater, reaffirming the wisdom of nature. Do not harm them or spray pesticides!

Today, for "Because You Demanded It," I reread "All Star Superman" issue 6...the funeral of Pa Kent. Then I cried like a baby. Why do some of the best and truest stories hurt so much?

A few photos from the opening of The Gun Show at Dutoit Gallery, a show that I was honored to have a piece in. It was good to get out and see people.
