T'as raté la partie la plus fun.
On peut juste dire à l'UE de tout importer par la Martinique et on passera de 20% à 10% de tarifs 🫠

It is actually fundamentally an evolution of the Mirage 4000 design.
Twin engine, canard-delta, and you can even see the legacy Mirage inlet cones on early mockups.

For reference, here are a couple photos of SCALP-carrying Greek Mirage 2000-5 Mk2 (or 2000-5EGM), single-seat (as opposed to the twin-seat 2000Ds)
On the second picture, the SCALP seems a lot closer to the hull. Might be different versions of the launching system?

It was actually announced in late 2023. But yes, it's been pretty quiet and with no timeline. The tweet also implies it could be manufactured in ukraine. x.com/Armees_Gouv/...

Also for production, I remember stumbling around this chart. Interesting for scale, but I don't have a source for this unfortunately.

That article doesn't distinguish between the various flankers unfortunately, most likely estimates from satellite footage.

Yes, overall weight capacity should be similar between all mirages, but bomb supply will prob be more of a bottleneck than hardpoints. I expect most loadouts will looks more like this picture in practice - MICA for self defense, fuel tanks for range and a couple AASM-250 in the middle
