Slimme zet tegen desinformatie of gevaarlijke censuur?

China heeft een nieuwe wet ingevoerd die influencers verplicht om een diploma of officieel certificaat te hebben als ze online praten over 'serieuze onderwerpen' zoals financiën, gezondheid of recht. ...

IMPORTANT: The Dutch invest €595 million annually on urban biking, resulting in €19 BILLION saved in public health care costs alone. That’s how smart governments do the math on investing in better mobility.

Let’s be clear— it wastes public money to NOT do it.

Reacting isn’t politics. Real leadership means having your own vision and relentlessly working to achieve it. New research confirms: chasing the far right only drags everyone into their corner.

That’s why I support @volteuropa.org. They have an interesting, coherent program and they stick to it.

The signs are impossible to ignore: the US is sliding toward autocracy. Trump pardons his allies and weaponizes the justice system against opponents. Soon opponents will start falling from windows.

Deloitte has been using AI to generate inaccurate reports and charged the government $440 000 for that.

The incorrect use of AI is something I don't even accept from my students, let alone a highly paid consultancy firm that should know better.

We already know that qualifications are not needed in this Trump government (not having them seems preferable) but handing a top position to a 19-year-old with zero experience? This is taking another step in nepotism.
Trump said he deserved a cut for brokering the TikTok deal, and at once there was agreement that his son Baron would have a top executive slot... though he hasn't asked for it, and has no apparent qualifications to hold it. This is how Trump 2.0 works. www.telegraph.co.uk/us/news/2025...

It’s so transparent, yet history proves it works: paint your ‘enemy’ as criminals and the root of all evil. Repeat it endlessly. Then you "must" intervene against the problem you invented. The perfect excuse to erase opposition. Sound familiar? The playbook never changes, only the names do.

Only silver lining in this dumpster fire? The generals seem to find his ideas as stupid as the rest of us. At least some people in the US still have a grip on reality.
And after 40 minutes of cringe-Thunderous applause from the generals!

Just kidding. Total silence. 👀 🦗 🦗

One clown declares that war crimes are ok for soldiers, while the other tells generals they’ll need to wage war against Democrats. Welcome to the brink of civil war.
Trump: "The ones that are run by radical left Democrats -- what they've done to San Francisco, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles. They're very unsafe places & we're gonna straighten them out one by one. This is gonna be a major part for some people in this room. That's a war too. It's war from within"
September 30, 2025 at 2:41 PM
So now war crimes are ok and soldiers can do as they please? The U.S. is barreling toward full-blown authoritarianism at breakneck speed—and no one is hitting the brakes.

When accountability vanishes, tyranny thrives.
Hegseth: "We unleash overwhelming and punishing violence on the enemy. We also don't fight with stupid rules of engagement. We untie the hands of our warfighters to intimidate, demoralize, hunt, and kill the enemies of our country. No more politically correct and overbearing rules of engagement."

Another country is rewriting history on social media, with TikTok as a tool, using propaganda to control the narrative. As Orwell warned: "The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command."
September 26, 2025 at 4:44 PM
Another step toward authoritarianism in the U.S.: seizing control of the most popular social network. When you dominate the narrative, you erase debate. Democracy dies in silence, one algorithm at a time.
