There’s a real problem in how JSOC precedes SOCOM in time and yet is a subordinate component command now with a lot of power.
I also think that we should shut down DEVGRU. I am uncertain if we can rebuild a new specialized maritime team or not.

My county in TN is whining about high density bc it’s hundreds or thousands of SFH on what were family farms that can’t survive so they sell all but a nice lot for the family to developers (rightfully so, farming is miserable and the $ is good)

Both are not helped by the farming off of things like code to private organizations with self-interested parties that don’t balance interests: all sorts of fire related things are this way, for example
