History is repeating itself. While #fascism may be wearing some fresher clothing it remains exceedingly dangerous. As an academic & a student who vocally opposes Trump & his neoNazis, it's just a matter of time now before other like-minded people & I need to make serious choices about our safety.

Dear #MAGA Nazis: how's that 401k looking? You're set to lose everything because you backed a functionally illiterate Russian asset psychopath & his merry band of fascists so that you could what ... own the libs? Today alone the #DOW closed down almost 900.

I'm not even a full-fledged PHD yet, but I am close AND I teach, so let me be clear: I WILL dissent & I WILL defend my students by any means necessary. #Fascism simply cannot win. Not now. Not ever.

I was filling out my new FAFSA yesterday, and I have never been asked what type of "white" I am. Why the hell does this matter? It smacks a bit of the Nazi efforts to determine who was "white enough" and who was a "mongrel".
