I've lost count of how many attempts I had, but I have finally done it...

I've beaten Gold stake on Black deck in Balatro!!!!

And after that, I have a few thoughts about difficulty scaling in the game:

It's a weird feeling of accomplishment, but I've just cleaned out my Discord, leaving the servers I don't visit anymore, and finally all the ones I am still in fit on one window without scrolling! :p

Pretty special day to have one of your games at #1 in the BGG hotness! :)

And even sadder, my post about this on Facebook asking people to report the profile just brings out even more scammers in the comments!

Facebook thinks it’s perfectly fine.

What do you think? Seems like a pretty straightforward fraud to me.

Sometimes I get in a bit of a rut in my day, nothing really working. I don’t feel like going out either. But I try to remind myself it’s always better with a change of scenery…

I couldn't have known it at the time, but I have been so so so so lucky to be able to work with Rory on Postmark - he really is one of the most talented designers working in board games.

And the way home on the train is pretty nice too :)
