Hi. I'm in Scotland, so I'm aware the English system is very different. Our local authority sets the rules, but sabbaticals are ok if the school agrees them. We have a great teacher on one now who is grateful and we will likely keep.

Apparently we have a dog visit coming up shortly. If it goes well, we will look to further steps. 🙂

No, but a fair body of our staff would love a therapy pet/s. We had a staff member bring in his tortoise, and our kids were thrilled to interact. I'm nervous of the rules and hurdles, but I think it could be so helpful.
