The Zohran sign generator and this particular @themountaingoats.bsky.social lyric seemed like a good match.

Mamdani is going to implement shakshuka law. Looks delicious.

I take back everything I said about Zohran. His confiscatory socialist policies stole approximately 70% of my hair by volume.

I saw this comment on a YouTube video of Chidi making Peeps chili, and it is an alarming point.

Some replies point out that canned chili would be cold, but not actually raw…and I’m not sure how reassuring that is.

I have to say, there’s a certain satisfaction in voting against our incumbent mayor in a building named for his father.

Vote @burnettforbing.bsky.social, Binghamton. We can do better than a Republican nepo-baby. And we need to.

For two years in a row, I have taught on Halloween.

For two years in a row, I have worn a lion costume and told my class that we will be studying lion policy.

Let me kick this off! I donated to the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Between the SNAP shutoff and the ICE onslaught, the city needs support.

Thank you for this prompt! I gave to the Food Bank of the Southern Tier here in rust-belt upstate New York. If you’re still matching (and/or if others want to!), they could really use help.

The speed at which inflatable costumes have diffused thru multiple movement circles is kind of amazing.

They started as a protest/de-escalation tactic in Portland. But in spaces like a No Kings protest in Binghamton (pictured), they’re more a symbol of solidarity and affinity. And that’s cool too.

So I’m seeing estimates of 4-5000 in Binghamton today. That seems high, but I have learned over many years that I am not great at crowd counts.

Still, even if it was 2-3000, that’s pretty good for a city of 47K with several other rallies within a 50 mile radius.

Four National Guard members amidst the upscale shops on the top floor of DC Union Station.

Soldiers acting as literal mall cops.

Welcome to DC.

Saw about ten uniformed soldiers with long guns hanging off their chests at Union Station alone. Unsettling to say the least.
