What's your favorite painting? John Curry's Tornado Over Kansas. This was (and is) a major piece in the Muskegon Museum of Art. My mom would take us a few times a year for the rotating exhibits and I always wanted to see this as well. There's not much more there than nostalgia.

In the tippy-top of Michigan's Upper Penninsula is the vacation town of Copper Harbor, fully of mountain biking trails, kayaking, fishing, etc. It has treacherous two-tracks that take you to one of the rare places at the end of the world. It's just wonderful.
