You keep writing them, Dave, and I’ll keep reading them! (And I’m talking both comics AND your uplifting posts!)

This book has remained at the top of my to-read/anticipated read stack since issue 1. It is so amazingly good. I look forward to the conclusion but know I’ll miss it once it’s done.

(Kinda. They've been sitting for a year+. I may want to dust them off and spruce them up. And in doing so, the twelve will probably become twenty, so the story can breathe a little.)

(By “FINISH IT” I’m just saying to finish your projects. Get it out there. Accept that it’s not going to be perfect. That most will never read it & those that do may not like it. But maybe your book makes 5 people smile. And that’s rad. While they’re smiling, you’re off making an even better comic.)

I’ve talked about The Deviant to anyone who will listen (and even some who don’t) all year. All your work is great, but there’s something in those pages that got to me from issue 1. Great work!
