Much of the hand wringing, imo, is over a critic explicitly saying they are judging the moral fabric of a piece of art because of the tools used to create it and it’s making some folks feel uncomfortable and shamed. The people who feel that way should sit with that feeling.

The Séance of Blake Manor is such a perfect execution of the deduction game. It manages to be approachable while still requiring deduction from the player. Not to mention the way Ireland is weaved throughout its narrative, not just used as a backdrop

Really impressed with Dispatch's first episode. It definitely has some of that "we can say fuck" energy that made me roll my eyes, but I was really impressed how deep its characters are. That's not guaranteed in this genre of storytelling.
