The kitchen part of the brewery closed down so Sid asked the woman what she'd recommend in town.
"We've got a lot of fast food."
Suggested a couple of Tex-Mex places that are "pretty good." When asked what her favorite dish is: "The fajita pasta with jalapeño sauce. It's not hot at all."

Good work! In Austin we could donate them to a local (humane) pig farmer...not quite as nature-friendly but they didn't have to go to waste. Little chance of freezing this early there.

And, unsurprisingly, better in person.

That's sort of why the idea of cricket flour seems good. Call it something else that sounds foodie and fancy, like from slimehead to orange roughy.

Haha! Turn off the part of your brain that says, "I'm eating crickets" and they're just a nice crunchy snack. Like I try not to think too much that "I'm eating a cow" when I have a burger!

I thought they were fine but I haven't sought them out since that photo was taken. I'm totally fine with the idea of cricket flour, too, but haven't bought or used it, either.

Really, who needs television when the drama and humor are all around us like that? Stay put on a piece of property anywhere and you can even get whole series and documentaries.
