I placed my votes for The Game Awards! Didn't vote in categories I hadn't played any games in/ couldn't comment on (Accessibility and Impact). I think Clair Obscur is going to sweep nearly every category it's nominated for... but not sure how I feel about it being in the Indie categories

With just about 4 weeks to go until Metroid Prime 4 releases I am giving up on a Switch/ Switch 2 release for Prime 2+3...
So instead I had to bust out the Wiimote and Metroid Prime Trilogy on Wii!!

Just tried out Sands of Hope and really dug it! It's a very chill little puzzler where you manipulate blocks to solve puzzles with a gorgeous aesthetic! Seems nice and open with loads of optional sections too!

I finally achieved full 100% completion in Super Mario Odyssey!!
Sometimes going for 100% can make me like a game less (looking at you 3D World!) but Odyssey's definitely just made me appreciate the game even more!
Best Mario game ever!!
Now bring on Donkey Kong Bananza!

Also got this incredible Master Sword from Proplica! It's so nicely detailed and looks like an exact replica of the in game sword! The colours really pop, the scabbard looks like an art piece and the included display stand highlights both parts exceptionally well!! Very impressed!

Very excited to have my Switch 2 now! Setting it up currently before playing it for the rest of the day!

I'm playing through PC Game Pass and it looks and runs great for me on there, highly recommend anyone with Game Pass to give it a shot... but it's also well worth the price they're asking for the game if you don't!

The combat is so much fun that even when I see an optional enemy that can one shot me with any attack and I realise I'm meant to come back later... I instead sit with it for 30+ minutes trying it over and over until I perfect the dodges and parries and can overcome the odds and end up winning!

The story and characters immediately get their emotional hooks in you and make you care for each character and the world they inhabit. This is done through an exciting initial concept, great character writing and impeccable performances from the whole voice cast!
