"I would say that this /is/ a type of bullying behaviour..." - abbreviated quote. Acceptance is a necessary step, so being in communities that are openly hostile to even the idea of this paraphilia, it will only do harm. It was also suggested that there is a lot of projection going on. No surprise.

After consulting with a psychologist specialised in paraphilia, childhood trauma, and related conditions, there was a very strong emphasis on NOT engaging with or being around "anti-zoophile" spaces. It could very likely strengthen repression and dissociation, and WILL cause harm. Zoophile or not.

After thinking on this, I think the use of "consent" as a necessary and justifying mechanic adds constraints to the thinking process. We need more words for this.

I think the main problem is, you're taking it out of context, and applying an unnecessary moral framework and value judgement. Care less about "takes" and you'll be happier.

Yeah, you said it. It doesn't matter whether or not heika is a zoophile. I would not be surprised if they're asking people these things themselves. They're a terminally online furry with a deficit of life experience. Nobody who argues against zoophilia can manage a non-emotional response.

While this view of sexuality does place agency into the hands of the animal partner, it's important that it's not for the gratification of someone who /wants/ to be used as the primary motivation for sexual contact.
