I take a look once in a while, but haven't posted for months. Out of Twitter-ish platforms, I'm only here now. Never looked back. However the traffic is visibly lower here, sadly.

Yup! www.flightradar24.com/add-coverage - here you go! I'm using their own Debian image with everything installed, but configuring this should be straightforward on other systems as well!

Are you feeding to fr24 too? I've been running my ADS-B on a Pi for some years now and find the free business sub to fr24 a superb perk to have. Indispensable when travelling, apart from just being everyday fun.

Have you explain analyze'd it? My guess would be the query planner needs to go deeper than usual to make a good execution plan for it, despite limit 0. It shouldn't do the actual execution, but planning alone can be surprisingly expensive.

I see that often. In fact, I feel I'm guilty as charged in a microscale, just "doing my job" and not thinking it deserves of being talked about. Even if it indeed requires some bending and jumping through the hoops to go around NDAas safely, or - better yet - convincing all involved it's worth it.
