Views my own.
I get the impression she is only mildly transphobic. She’s not Mahmood.

If I remember rightly, there was a wonderful old Tory viscount in that session who showed more compassion and sense than anyone else in his party has for about three decades.

Yeah this struck me as something that would Go Down Poorly with the Equalities Office.

Thank you! I thought I had seen a comment somewhere where someone had told the EHRC off for bullying before.

50/ On the procedural aspect of Ground 2, Stilitz says it is inappropriate to rush, especially when there is no obligation to provide advice. Doing nothing is better than publishing guidance that is incomprehensible or harmful.

Hmm, that’s a fairly unhinged reply!

To me it smells like they know that the game is up and that their crazy pipe dream is slipping away in the face of the actual law.

On the plus side, at least trans people are being represented this time.

The arguments seem very sound to me. But, yes, I am also apprehensive of tomorrow.

39/ Stilitz also referenced the fact that employers across the country have operated this policy for a long time without breaching health and safety legislation, criminal or otherwise, since 2011. No real sense in which women’s toilets cease to be for women simply by having trans inclusive policies.

29/ “And it is this serious and flagrant misstatement of the law that has led [businesses] up and down the country to pursue trans exclusion.”

That rings a bell - I think he mentioned that he had spoken to his wife and daughter about 'trans issues' and that they had said there are none.

(I don't regularly listen, I just wanted to hear what some people who clearly had no skin in the game thought.)

I listened to them talking on TRiP just in the wake of the SC ruling in April and Campbell was surprisingly good on it.

I can't recall the exact wording, but he basically said that claiming 'clarity' had been achieved was nonsense and that this wasn't going anywhere.

I just read the Minister's submission. She does not hold back on the EHRC or its stance in the interim <whatever>.

It really is.

If this wasn't so terrifying, it would be fascinating.

The BBC have already started using 'biological male who identifies as a woman' and vice versa. The hate group activists have their claws deeply embedded.

I don't think this will work, though. It is clearly a slur and is also cumbersome. It reads like the person who wrote it is an idiot.

I'm not defending, but it was a nothing answer from the PM. It commits them to nothing and answers the question.

Ah yes, the 'kids' are definitely going to be reading The Times.

I hope they are enjoying their media echo chamber.

Whatever happens, thank you so much for all you do!

This country has lost its mind. It really has.
