So pleased to be part of an @ahuauk.bsky.social programme with amazing colleagues including the wonderful Lesley Castens. Lovely to bump into David Archer, another brilliant colleague from the library world.

Yesterday, I had the privilege of visiting the @lshtm.bsky.social & their beautiful Library. So pleased to be part of an @ahuauk.bsky.social programme with amazing colleagues including the wonderful Lesley Castens. Enjoyed the talk today on “AI and the future of work” at the York Festival of Ideas #YorkIdeas. In summary, moderately depressing, mostly exciting, but very uncertain future!

After the trip to Saudia Arabia, I went to Pakistan after 12 years and visited the Capital University of Science & Technology in Islamabad. I managed to get a selfie with the Librarian there alongside a couple of photos of their library. #Library #LoveLibraries

Starting the thread back in 2025 with a picture in front of Masjid-e-Nabvi - the Mosque of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) Library. It is located in Madina, Saudia Arabia where I went as part of Umrah (minor pilgrimage) earlier this year. Unfortunately didn't get a chance to go inside this time.
