The spending on turning schools into fortresses, with retrofits, is insane. Companies are making way too much money from something that can be prevented with common sense gun laws.

Working for a school... I've seen the insane spending.

It's nice to see a president, current or former, take the initiative and go out of their way to praise our veterans for their service. They seemed surprised and very appreciative.

When we hear about other countries having subsidies for things like free child daycare, assistance and universal healthcare to make it so people can work, raise children or just survive, why isn't that happening in the (currently) wealthiest country on Earth?
