You should give it a shot! At least one way! We did it coming back from Wisconsin a couple years ago and it was fun. We got a deal on a roomette so we could sleep better.

Be aware though that it will likely get held up along the way because of freight traffic. It’s a slow journey.

It’s so depressing and embarrassing the D3 choices.

This morning we took a Dundee bus to the base of Dundee Law, and walked up for an awesome view of the city and the river. Then we hiked down a different side, walked through a park, and picked up the bus again to City Centre. #scotland #dundee #weekwithoutdriving #publictransit

Sure! But his solution was just to not have trees along streets.

We can’t have nice things because we don’t have a department able to maintain nice things. So therefore we shouldn’t have nice things. Rather than, we need to find a way to fund the department of creating/maintaining nice things.

When a D3 candidate stopped by my house this week, and I ended up taking some time to talk with him (not a great time!), he said “we shouldn’t be planting trees if the DPW can’t take care of them!” And I was like “ok, but then doesn’t that really mean we need to fully fund and staff the DPW?”

They are so pretty! I’ve been tempted forever, and maybe this skeet is a sign…

I know and that makes me so sad! I grew up in a small city and started walking to/from school late elementary through middle. All kids should have that kind of freedom.

I would love to pick DTM’s brain about that area of Grafton St because it really is strange and uncomfortable.

But also, my kingdom for kids being about to get to/from school without a car (once they are old enough)!
