We just passed (Feb 17) the feast of St. Mariamne, the sister of the Apostle Philip, called Equal to the Apostles. She is a beautiful example of women ministering in the Apostolic period. She travelled with her brother and Bartholomew, assisting them in their ministry and suffering alongside them.

The dog and cat were unusually quiet and out of the way while I had company. After the guests left, I found them upstairs cuddling on the couch.
