Good morning from the north country of NH. Temperature dropping steadily from 10 F a few hours ago to 5 F now (10 am). I’m in the kitchen making another batch of marmalade.

Little red squirrel is raiding the bushel basket w/ leftover black walnuts. He can hull a nut quickly & then run across the yard to stash it for the winter.

It’s time to make marmalade again. My husband made this every fall just before the holidays, & I make it now in memory of him. It makes the house smell so fragrant.
