Snow squalls today in Colebrook—10 minutes later the sky was clear & blue. We’ll see squalls all day today, most likely.

Little red squirrel has hulled all the nuts in the basket and stashed them, so I guess it’s time for me to clean up the mess he left behind.

Little red squirrel is raiding the bushel basket w/ leftover black walnuts. He can hull a nut quickly & then run across the yard to stash it for the winter.

It’s time to make marmalade again. My husband made this every fall just before the holidays, & I make it now in memory of him. It makes the house smell so fragrant.
