There are many things needed to improve patient care and this is 💯 one of them. It’s not the only thing - cancer, hip replacements etc all need to be addressed properly. You can’t fine a doctor for not ensuring care is available quickly when there aren’t enough of them or even MRIs etc. it’s absurd

It’s draconian- increase the resources for patients don’t financially penalize doctors for government decisions not to fund the system adequately
