We were delighted to welcome Prof Alan Smeaton to @unioflimerick.bsky.social yesterday. Prof Ann Ledwith, Interim Provost and Deputy President, facilitated a most engaging fireside chat with Prof Smeaton on the theme ‘Integrating Gen AI in Higher Education: The journey so far and the future.'

The neighbour's elderly cat and I admiring the fruits of our labour (four hours and two glasses of wine later, the latter having nothing to do with the time involved)...thanks Santa!! Glad to be returning to the more straightforward world of academic integrity.
