I think the popularity of delivery food is so ubiquitous at this point that if we democratized the economy, we would still have delivery food, but the workers would be treated and paid so much better, probably merged with the post office along with Amazon and UPS. Can't do shit until socialism.

Not only are capitalist firms run like dictatorships, but they demand elected representatives not interfere in their autocratic rule. There cannot be democracy and capitalism.

Angry Black Hoemo says on Facebook: Like, I get, y'all. I really do get it. A complete overhaul of a system from the outside *feels* insurmountable, because it's genuinely REALLY hard to do. So the shortcut of thinking that we can push an established party within said system left is a very enticing idea. But look at where we're at. I'm not far from 40 years old and the democratic party has been put on a pedestal for my entire life. I've watched this dynamic happen over and over and over again. The last almost 40 years of trying to make the democratic party into something it's not has led to us having 2 firmly right wing parties in 2025. Something else could've been figured out in that time. Leaving guaranteed failure behind to take a risk on a least trying to build something different would be a much better use of our time at this point. Better late than never. 🤷🏿‍♂️

There is no system in human history that has never done anything wrong or had errors. It's completely ridiculous to hang onto mistakes in socialist states as "proof" that we don't need socialism. Capitalism is so full of errors that it only survives into the present by cannibalizing itself (mainly through imperialist wars and the big bourgeoisie exploiting market crises for its own benefit) and heavy repression. In fact, it seems rather quaint to look at things like mismanagement of resources under socialism when 10 million people die of starvation every year globally, due to manufactured food crises. This isn't even touching on deaths from wars (exclusively capitalist numbers, as no socialist state is at war), genocide (Israel and Yemen plus others) and deaths due to homelessness or addiction. The important thing is that Marxism is a living science and has the ability to be improved up. Capitalism (and by extension liberalism) does not and has long been outdated. For instance, China may have struggled early on with food difficulties and other issues, but they objectively don't have that issue now. In fact, China is the global leader in reducing poverty. Human beings are flawed and we should expect things to be done wrong sometimes. It is how we move on that actually matters.
