After that, I came across Camp Kingdom Come, which doesn't mention anything in its description about AI art, but I thought the cover image looked a bit suspect. I then noticed it had a DriveThruRPG page and clicked through to find that on *that* page it had a disclaimer about using "AI assets". 19/?

Then there's A Kiss to Build a Dream On, a DnD 5e adventure which has cover art by an actual artist, but at the end of the description states that there is "Some generated image in supplement." as they felt the need to have AI art for every single npc. 18/?

However, I then found that this fucker had submitted a bunch more projects to the bundle. There's one called QuestCrawl which also has the same AI art disclaimer as the last one, and an expansion called QuestionCrawl which doesn't have a dislaimer, probably because the base game had one already 17/?

However let's be real here, I don't think it's likely they'll ever hire a human artist. The oldest comments on the game's page have been up for 3 years, which is more than enough time to hire an artist to make *something* to replace the artwork. 13/?

there's royalty free and public domain art out there you can use for your games. Hell, WatcherDM's page has two products which are drawings for use as stock art for ttrpgs, and several of their other products use public domain art, like Millenium Trail or Nightmare at Dodmans Point. 12/?

WatcherDM seems to be a collection of creators, as there are multiple names attached to different projects but for simplicity's sake I'm just gonna refer to WatcherDM as a single entity. The game's page description has this disclaimer at the top. 2/?

I've been looking through a bunch of the ttrpgs I've gotten through itch.io bundles over the years and I came across a game uploaded by WatcherDM which I thought looked neat, only to find out it used AI art slop. 1/?

She was a very docile cat, happy to sleep all day in her old age. She liked to cuddle, but only on her terms. She wasn't a lap cat, but she liked to sit next to me. She snored loud enough to hear her from upstairs through the floorboards. She shed more fur than I thought possible. I miss her a lot

She was 7ish when I met her. She would regularly come up to my room for snuggles to escape her owners other pet, a recently adopted dog called Chico. After a year of this, her owners offered to let me adopt her as they were moving out, as they didn't want to break up our friendship

My old cat Morgana passed away in my arms over a week ago. She was the sweetest cat I've ever met, and I am so glad I got to spend nearly 10 years with her. I don't know exactly how old she was because I got her from someone who had gotten her from someone else, and they got her from someone else.

I like how the lighting turned out in this one, and I'm especially pleased with the background. It feels very atmospheric and doesn't take the focus away from the subject

A bit of fanart/a dig at Tim Burton, because honestly if you're gonna have a corpse bride then you really ought to go whole hog. Not a particularly good film but visually it's neat
