My former street dog ate a lethal dose of chocolate; we rushed her to the ER but they couldn't get her to vomit much up. She was completely fine. I think they do it just to fuck with us

I like weirdly large produce almost as much as I like weirdly tiny produce. Citation: yesterday my farmer friend gave me this very tiny pear (normal pear for compearison)

It looks great! Love the new loon and the color scheme. Banner is displaying a little chunky on my mobile, much thinner if I rotate my phone, not sure if that's what you want -- but the whole thing looks great.

My dog belonged to a guy who lived alone in a rural area; when his owner died at home, it was 3 days before anyone noticed and EMTs came. He's very lucky he had enough water in the bowl and that somebody noticed the man was gone at all.

Yes! The good strawberries are usually smaller and have that telltale red all the way to the stem. There is almost a subtly swollen look to the tops. Hard to describe. You'll have the best luck in June in most places. They are really lovely and I hope you find some 😊

You can get good berries from a farmer's market or u-pick. Most strawberries are sold underripe as the ripe ones don't ship/store well. A ripe strawberry will be a glossy red all the stem, not white at the top. They are usually fairly red in the flesh, too. Variety and growing methods matter--

I did that last year for a dog, Seattle to upstate NY. It sucked very badly but was also incredible and worth it.
