Just had iOS 26 play an alarm – set to use a song instead of a built-in ringtone – by re-establishing a previous AirPlay session, which a) was a podcast playing in PocketCasts and b) as a result didn't make any sound at all, because the device being cast to was not the active input on my receiver.

Went to the Ashmolean Museum tonight to see “A conversation with Stanley Donwood”.

Sad to see my favorite band—one that I’ve seen probably close to 40 times over the years—call it a day, but glad I’ll be there to help them close out an era in style.

It's the opposite of rational, but as a lifelong gamer, it annoys me greatly that there no metaprogression (eg. profile level) on Steam that is indicative of your dedication to playing games instead of simply spending money.
