Not to make anyone envious, but....
REV StDenis/Rachel is in Le Plateau, a ward of Montreal with population density at the levels of European or even Dutch cities

Someone rode a Bixi from Montreal to Sherbrooke this summer. Both cities share the same bikeshare system.

Nothing shows #stroads and space given to cars in a city as well as B&W photography

Local car-uncles forum:
FAct: The new sidewalks are wide enough for 2 strollers to be able to pass each other, but car lanes are not 12 ft wide with 6 ft shoulders.
Apparently, this is war on cars
In a new neighbourhood that will be full of young families.

Most long distance stuff is done here.
The urgency in Sherbrooke is the missing short links downtown. Or correcting poor choices from the past.
Long process because motorists might get upset.

Behold this 90s wonder, technically the North ward gateway to downtown and the Magog river path

I need to send your post to townhall.
In Sherbrooke, these remain from the 1990s.
Fine back then but "one person at a time" barriers are a pain, a collision risk and create confusion at street xing with the current foot and bike traffic on the Magog axis.

Why pay for mooring or marina fees when curb parking is free. Usually just parked for the week.
September 1, 2025 at 9:16 PM
No tarp but the convertible on the street sat there for 3 good weeks, with a leaky oil pan because 3 other project car sit in the driveway.
Also parking over the sidewalk on school corridor

😁
Streets in march are often very bikeable.
Plenty of snow at the hill because of snow making, not snow falls.

Portland blvd bike path project: "we cannot afford to allocate space to bike path" local car-uncles worry

The irony is not lost that the picture about it on a local forum opposing anything related to non car mobility is this one
