5/ What I’ve learned along the way:
1️⃣ It’s okay to outgrow a role.
2️⃣ Build on what you already know—don’t start from scratch.
3️⃣ Small wins add up. Analyzing box scores helped me get started while learning tools like Python and SQL.

4/ This year, I made the leap.
I stepped away from strength and conditioning to focus on performance analytics and sports technology.
Some people got it. Others didn’t.

2/ For years, I worked with elite teams like TNT Tropang Giga and the Philippine Azkals. My focus was on improving athlete performance through strength and conditioning.
It was fulfilling work—but something felt missing.

4/ Growth happens when you lean into the things that feel hard:
• Redefine progress: Small steps forward are still steps.
• Be real: Vulnerability builds trust.
• Ask hard questions: Curiosity opens doors.
• Play the long game: Real change takes time.

3/ I started by being honest—sharing my own experiences with stress and burnout.
The response was incredible. Athletes began opening up. Trust grew. And performance improved, not just on the court, but in their lives.

2/ Early in my career as a sports scientist, I avoided tough conversations with athletes about mental health.
I didn’t feel “qualified” to help. But eventually, I realized that avoiding discomfort wasn’t helping anyone.
So, I decided to take a step forward.

5/ These three principles helped me grow as a sports scientist—even as a beginner. No fancy gadgets. Just observation, creativity, and a focus on individual growth.

4/ Simulate real-game pressure.
Blue Lock thrives on intensity. I apply this by designing drills that mimic real situations: fast-break decisions, contested threes, and clutch free throws.
Players adapt faster when they’re exposed to chaos in practice.
