Meet the Capitoline Wolf whom i recently had the pleasure of studying in Rome. The wolf is suckling the twins Romulus and Remus after rescuing them from the banks of the Tiber where they had been abandoned by an adversary of their grandfather. Romulus later killed Remus and went on to found Rome.
