We had to watch the Knick's so Mom could watch Pat

I didn’t tell her she was dumb but I did block her because that was a really dumb thing to say

I hope she is on the mend shortly. My best friends grandmother was 103 & in great form, sharp as a tack until the end. At 97 she was schooling us on using baptism v christening & non of us have mixed up the definition since (including her then 75 year old son!)

Or maybe I’d go Jack Nicholson and take a golf club to the front hood of someone’s car.

I want someone to be as upset as I am, I want someone to feel as bad as I do.

Or, I’ll text my therapist, take my meds, work out, & deal as an adult. But I could light up the PECO building w/my anger tonight

I’m weirdly calm but have a rage just under the surface and I am like thisclose to going full on Keith Moon in a hotel room.

Except it’s 2023 and I’m an adult and going hulk smash is not an acceptable way to deal with pain dressed as anger

Just too many funerals in too short a period of time. And it hits a lot differently when a friend dies of the same thing you had

Gabapentin is a well known cure for cellulitis which isn’t a serious issue in the least

Grandy and Mum are ROLLING in their graves & TyTy is biting her tongue. Their only granddaughter is at THE Catholic boarding school.

I love it

(None of it matters but I grew up somewhere where this mattered & matters greatly)

Uniqlo does a good job but it’s all so basic. Brooks is just too expensive for what it is. If it were the Brooks of my childhood, no issue. Le sigh. I just want a pink cashmere sweater that fits properly.

One whole sweater. Heck, I’d even settle for larger sized sweater that came past my navel. Do I need to start shopping at Talbots? Should I head there after I stop by Estée Lauder?

I know “flattering” is the new f-word but some of us do prefer flattering clothes. We’re not all Beth Ditto or Maddy Gutierrez or whomever. The world doesn’t need to see my stomach or my arms. I’m forever buying clothes & then paying the tailor to fix them. Please, I beg, knit me a whole sweater

They always over state it & no one ever considers the wash out period & that precious medications you’ve taken may prohibit you from participation.

But I remain hopeful!

Oof, I’m sorry. I have a band of scar tissue that runs parallel & then perpendicular to my big scar. I have granular tissue under another scar. It doesn’t hurt so much as it feels…weird. I don’t like to touch it, it gives me the heebie jeebies

I use adieu and believe it to be the most perfect word but I’m often wrong 😂

I have good luck with CVS- both their house brand and hefty. I LOATHE scented garbage bags

The City of Brotherly Love and Sisterly Affection is apparently racial tension free. Not like Boston or Baltimore (examples he gave)

At least a decade on and I laugh every time I remember it. I will also never forget his face when we told him about MOVE and Frank Rizzo
