My dad died of leukemia in March. In May my best friend’s mom died of breast cancer. In November my friend, who also had Ewing’s as a kid, died of a similar 2ndary cancer. Last week my friend died of endometrial cancer. Today my aunt died of metastatic lung cancer

Well today sucked. I broke my toe & my friend died. I put on Insta warning signs of gyn cancer & got a dm asking for further info. If you have any questions please ask. There are no tests for gyn cancer and the symptoms are nebulous

Listen, my eyeball blew up tonight & it appears I have ocular cellulitis. I can’t make this up. I happen to have 3 family members who are eye doctors & one family friend. This has been a group effort & I even got to ride in an ambulance

This isn’t really a rant but I wish fundraising for Girl Scouts or whatever had a donation I could make. I loved being a Girl Scout & I want to support the kids in my life. I just don’t need any of it & I’d much rather give cash instead of getting stuff I won’t use.

A thing about me is it took 14 mos for me to be dx with cancer as a kid & 6 weeks as an adult. My mother did not advocate for me & our family doctor didn’t see an urgency. I was in excruciating pain, went months without a bowel movement, but still made gold honor roll.

Re-watching The Sopranos because it is my comfort show but also sending texts like this to my bestie because THEY SHOT CHRISSY FOR NO REASON
