Also I'm late to this but I hope everyone had a Happy Halloween! With the day over I spent my late Halloween night playing one of my favorite childhood games I hadn't touched in maybe a decade, yet getting my best ever score. (But I got Rank B because I played the PAL version 😭)

I wrote 2,200 words about the new Pokémon game. Spoiler alert I liked it but just about every problem I foresaw myself having with the game before release ended up coming true.

My copy of Pokémon Legends: Z-A doesn't arrive until Saturday. I realized this ends an 18 year-long streak where I've played every mainline Pokémon game on launch day since Diamond and Pearl in 2007. 🙃

Spent the week at Universal Orlando with friends. Also did Epic Universe for the first time. Was really fun! Nice that a Nintendo Direct timed with it.

Superman was great! The second half in particular I really really loved. I'm so happy we're back to whimsical Superman again. Also probably the most "comic book accurate" feeling superhero movie I've ever seen in terms of vibes, etc. Really felt like a comic come to life.
