Unexpectedly, I'm again reading, this time in a popular mystery novel, about #eugenics history ... which remains horrifically current.

I arrived from Springfield, MO this morning for a medical appointment at 1pm. Alas, the appointment is actually for tomorrow! I booked a hotel room and then spent about 3 hours visiting 8 Little Free Libraries (6 are on this map). I donated 50-60 books; and I picked up about 20 books.

LFL news: this weekend, I'm gathering horror and Halloween-themed books from my back-stock and rotating them into our Little Free Library in the northeast corner of Springfield, Missouri.

We will also be attending the "No Kings - We Love America" protest on Saturday; we hope you will, too.

I wonder about this box on a downtown city street. Why would a sane person mark it this way? How many cameras are aimed at this spot? #infrastructure #security

In the 42 years since graduating from Journalism school, I've owned dozens of media books, including autobiographies and retrospectives of publications.

None of these have captured me like today's reading distraction: "How to Stand Up to a Dictator" (2022) by Maria Rassa.
