Another milestone! I’m about 2 chapters away from finishing Darien’s arc for Pillars of the Sky. Then it’s Sevaani’s turn. I’d say I’m 85% done.

This book has been kicking my butt.

Next up: edits, alpha, beta, editor. There’s a light at the end of the tunnel. I can see it!

Hit 325K words on The Pillars of the Sky! ✍️

Cut 4K from Kaiel’s arc before starting Darien’s, so it took a bit longer, but that’s 4K fewer to edit later. First draft = telling myself the story. Edits come next.

The first draft of The Pillars of the Sky just hit 300,000 words.

I thought I’d finish at 225K. I was wrong. Very wrong.

Still writing. Still overwhelmed. But the story’s not done—yet.
Book 2 is coming. I promise.

I’ve just had two weeks off work and have spent most of that time getting back into the habit of doing three writing sprints a day. I've worded everyday and have really built up my own momentum in getting the words out and onto the page.

The Pillars of the Sky just hit 250K words. Not finished but getting much closer to the end of Kaiel’s arc for this book ⚔️

Some might think that’s too much, but for those of you waiting, book 2 is closer to complete than not 😎
