Loving a semi-retired life of sailing, camping, traveling, working now and then. Progressive in my views. Kindness, love, truth and understanding are most important. ⛵️🏕️💪

Dr Robert Ballard gave a riveting 1-hour talk tonight in Frederick MD. At age 82, this discoverer of geothermal ocean vents as well as the wreck of the Titanic and dozens of other deep ocean artifacts, is still going strong after 60 years of oceanography. Well worth the foggy drive.

This iconic photograph on exhibit in speaks to me of growing up as a kid in 1960s American Suburbia. A brilliant use of artistic perspective. The National Gallery of Art.

Sauerkraut is healthy and easy to make at home. Only 3 ingredients: cabbage, carrots, salt. Chop, chop, chop! Ferment for a week and you’re done!

You can exclude the carrots or add apples or other things. First photo is from a previous batch. The new batch is 10 pounds of vegetables!
