There are many disturbing parallels between attempts to enforce the Fugitive Slave Law of 1850 and current events. Most notably, the use of 1000 Federal troops and Marines in Boston in 1854.

It was a significantly raised the tensions that ultimately led to war.

I know it only by reputation. Not sure I would even recommend it, but the concept of combining comedy and economics appeals. It started in 2010.
