Metal Slader Glory has two distinct English fan translations that seem similar at first but provide very different experiences, not just with the text but in the UI execution as well! I've seen opinion divided on which is better, as one person's objective improvement is another's subjective decision

Fun fact: the company Flight-Plan developed this game for Sunsoft as one of their earliest games, but the staff there left soon after to work at Naxat... that team coincidentally included artist Moriken, previously of Sunsoft!

Something I've wondered Kev, if you're able to check: Does the source files' comments indicate which Follin brother authored which songs?

Will they be including the Japanese versions of the first game? I remember from Legends of Localization that it was pretty decent

Oh I see, 4ST was the YouTuber who uploaded the offending interview with Udagawa in the first place, yeah I got that mixed up with the blog that covered it

Always wondered why 4ST decided to delete the blog post covering this specific row (that included a comment from the game's programmer Tadashi Mukai), I guess the two resolved this issue privately?

I think some musicians really excelled at making the PSG subtle, or at least using it in ways that has you wondering if it's FM at times; MUSE's music contains some excellent examples

I think it's better for the song in the long run to at least have it sketched from beginning to end, as opposed to a beautiful sounding half of a song you can't finish lol

Taiyo Yuden was known to produce high-quality CD-Rs, at least based on the findings of this Japanese survey from the early 2000s. I wonder if the "high error rate" was due to the burners?

This reminds me: I wonder if Mark Jones would've ever imagined a piece of art from a licensed NES game ending up on a official Marvel tee from Japan

I wonder if their work on Sugoi Hebereke is related to a possible PC Engine version that Hitoshi Sakimoto vaguely recalled working on, in the credits list he provided to Rocketbaby:

i thought hirokazu tanaka's vocals really stood out, although hirokazu tanaka and hirokazu tanaka were pretty good too

I'm impressed at how much was already in place by the time this demo was assembled! Don't know how I'd feel if those sci-fi corridors made it into the final game, though
