I think the cover date was actually the date they took it off the shelf to put the new issue up there… like a ‘display until’ for the news agent… Anyone confirm?

I never knew that the BBC had banned DW from Foreign locations... it must have been fairly temporary since Arc of Infinity, Planet of Fire and Two Doctor were just around the corner...

Yep, we finished it tonight. I never like it. It's so Sawardy, makes no sense, has no charm and, like you say... is sooo shouty. Why do I keep watching it. It's like a prototype for all the bad things in season 22...

Hmmm. That's the essence of any job I've ever done, it wouldn't be economic for any company to hire staff that were not going to produce things they could sell for more than the cost of the labour made to produce them....

Have you complained to the BBC? They have proper procedures for this, unlike their rivals. If more people used them, instead of grumbling on social media, they would have to take notice.

She voted against the bill. Sometimes influencing from within is more effective than losing the whip and underdoing all the other good work she has been working on in parliament. Whether she stands as an independent next time or not is not yet clear.

Because there was a big protest vote this time... usually Labour win the ward. Yes if all the Labour vote went to the Lib Dems they would get it... but that's not going to happen. We need PR but we're not going to get it.
