And, just like that (it appears), I'm the dad of a 20 year old! Happy birthday to the wonderful, funny, caring, absolute delight to be with that is my Dude. I couldn't be prouder of the great person he's turned out to be & look back on our adventures with a huge sense of pride!

I loved ghost stories when I was a kid (and still do), but look at the glorious covers on these paperback anthologies from Fontana. "Horror" is the 1982 edition, "Ghost" is from 1975.

Today marks 3 years since we lost my dad. Sometimes, I feel every one of those days, sometimes it feels like it's only been 3 months. I miss him a lot (we all do) and even now, I'll see an ad for a book or TV show and think "Oh, I must tell Dad about that". Hug your loved ones.

In 1985 (40 years ago!), me, Rob Nichols, Mark Guyett, Sean Marshall & Steve Corton resurrected the Montsaye Student magazine while in the Sixth Form. We wrote, illustrated, sold ad space and designed the entire thing and it was a big success. We even got into the local paper... 🙂
