Bicyclist, recumbent tricyclist 😃, motorcyclist, grandfather, knitter, materials engineer, retired academic, would-be linguist currently failing structurally and waiting for further replacement parts. 😢
This is hilarious anti-cyclist bollocks. Talk about parading your ignorance in public. It’s hard to know where to start (or stop). But how about “[cyclists] don’t need seat belts”?😂

We need much more of that and none of this, which was built to the currently in-force local design standards.

This is going well.

Never been to Milton Keynes? This is 60 mph.

Apart from some wag(s) having rotated various bits of this in different directions, is there anything wrong with this signage? I’m thinking @showmeasign.online might know. Asking for a friend.

Truly inspiring, and practical. What stood out for me, because I’m personally grappling with something to which it’s relevant:

“Many politicians are slick, practiced and skilled liars. Do NOT fool yourself you can sway them…”

I’ve been musing over how to tell when a #closepass filmed on a @williamnb.bsky.social #WillCycle helmet cam looks too close. The white car definitely was and looks it. The red car was technically too close both times. But it didn’t feel it particularly. It must be when they cut in that you notice.

That’s more than a bit scary.😬 (Actually it’s a trike at the moment.) How did it work that out?

Quietly corrected.

That, and flailing. 😖

Yes, but be careful what you wish for. The root heave across this cycleway near Winslow leaves you needing serious dental work if you haven’t got suspension. Even weekly resurfacing would not help. It’s still better than the road, although that was blissful during Covid.
